Terms and Conditions – The Gastronomy Center Santorini

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in all experiences, classes, and events offered by The Gastronomy Center Santorini. By making a reservation through our website, by phone, or through any other method, participants fully and unreservedly accept these terms.

Reservations

• Reservations are considered confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email from us.
• Some experiences may require a minimum and/or maximum number of participants. In the event that the minimum number is not met, we may suggest a date change or cancel the booking with a full refund.

Payments

• Payments can be made via debit/credit card or in cash.
• Full payment is required to confirm a reservation.

Cancellations & Changes

• 24 hours before the scheduled time: Full refund
• 12 hours before the scheduled time: 50% refund
• The Gastronomy Center Santorini reserves the right to cancel or modify an experience due to weather conditions, force majeure, or low participation. In such cases, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered.

Arrival Time & Participation

• Guests are kindly requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• In case of late arrival, participation is not guaranteed, and part of the experience may be missed without refund.

Special Dietary Requirements

• We make every effort to accommodate dietary allergies or preferences (e.g., vegetarian, intolerances), provided we are informed at least 48 hours in advance.
• Guests are encouraged to complete the relevant form during booking or send an email to info@thegastronomycentersantorini.com with their dietary information.

Use of Photos/Videos

• The Gastronomy Center Santorini reserves the right to photograph and film its experiences for promotional purposes (website, social media, etc.).
• If a guest does not wish to appear in such material, they must notify us before the experience begins, either in writing or verbally to a staff member.

Safety & Liability

• The center is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages to personal belongings during the experience, unless caused by gross negligence on our part.
• Participants are responsible for following staff instructions and behaving respectfully toward the space and other guests.

Intellectual Property

• All content provided during the experiences (recipes, educational material, photos, etc.) is the intellectual property of The Gastronomy Center Santorini and may not be reproduced, copied, or republished without prior written consent.

Data We Collect

Online reservation procedure

Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.

Data given automatically

There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.

Data given from other sources

Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.

Data we share with others

We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.
